- Never enter adjacent properties without permission.
- Be aware that GPS signals can be inaccurate in remote or densely wooded areas.

- If without service, use visual landmarks and your compass to orient yourself.
- Stay put if it's getting dark or weather is deteriorating.
Wildlife Safety
Understanding wildlife behavior is essential for both successful hunting and personal safety.
Predator Awareness
- Research what potential predators exist in your hunting area (bears, wolves, cougars, etc.).
- Know proper response techniques for encounters with dangerous wildlife.
- Consider carrying bear spray in areas with bear populations.
- Make noise when moving through dense cover to avoid surprising animals.
- Properly store food and dispose of field dressing waste according to regulations.
Ethical Considerations
